If you are a patient who has their medication dispensed from our Dispensary in Tavistock and you have trouble in coming into the Surgery to collect your medication, we can now deliver your medication direct to your door.

If you are not a patient who has their medication dispensed by us BUT you live more than a mile from a Pharmacy you would be able to take advantage of this service. If this applies to you and you would like to change and let us dispense your medication to you please let us know and we will deliver it for you now!!

Dear Patients,

We are delighted to announce that Dr Adrian Bourne who has worked for us previously has joined us now as a new Partner. He will be looking after the Patients who were previously registered with Dr Cullen and Dr Hart.

                             FLU CLINICS

All Children over the age of six months and under the age of 7 and all adults over the age of 65 or anyone with a chronic illness will shortly receive a text or automated telephone call inviting them to book for their flu vaccination.

We would urge you to book as soon as possible to ensure you receive your flu vaccination whilst stocks last

Patient Participation Group 2014/15

Please click on the Patient Participation Group Tab on the left of the home page and this will take you to an area of the website were you can download the latest report from our group and see what we are working on in terms of services.

On-Line Access

Another reminder that you can register to log on from the comfort of your home to order your repeat prescriptions and book appointments with the Doctors.

We are unable to put the Nurse appointments on there due the varying appointment times needed dependant on your clinical needs.

The new enhancement is that you can now log-on and view your medical record summary, your medication, your hospital letters and your investigation results.

We would value your opinion on what medical services you would like to see developed in Tavistock so that we can share your ideas with other Practices and the local Clinical Commissioning Group. We would then campaign on your behalf for more localised services should there be enough demand and funding. Please feel free to either e-mail us at abbey.surgery@nhs.net or write in addressed for my attention.

Kind regards,

Darren Newland
